I went in today with a crisis. They solved it. It’s that simple.

The crisis:

I️ was in Dallas for 24 hours to take a deposition which took several months of fighting, costly motions practice, and ultimately a court order, to schedule. If it didn’t happen on this trip, it wasn’t going to happen. Period.

My luggage was misrouted and my only clothes within 800 miles were the filthy polo shirt and chinos which Id been wearing and sweating in for about 36 consecutive hours. If they let me into the depo room looking like that even I would be horrified.

I had 10 minutes to find something to wear, and if I didn’t, all bets were off. Client relationship hung in the balance.
